The 19th Asian Financial Forum to Be Held in Hong Kong, Focusing on Finance Empowering Industries

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) announced on the 5th that the 19th Asian Financial Forum, co-organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the HKTDC, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 26 to 27. With the theme of “Collaborating in Changing Times for Win-Win Outcomes in a New Era”, the forum will feature the inaugural Global Industry Summit, highlighting Hong Kong’s strengths as an international financial center.

The organizers stated that this year’s forum will focus on “finance empowering industries”, keeping pace with global financial trends. It will gather over 100 political and business leaders as well as financial experts from around the world to serve as speakers. They will conduct a comprehensive analysis of geopolitical changes and macroeconomic trends, and explore the development of financial markets and potential investment opportunities from multiple perspectives, so as to promote collaboration among financial professionals amid changing circumstances and create win-win results in the new landscape.

Martin Liao, Chairman of the HKTDC, said that in response to market changes, the forum will launch the inaugural Global Industry Summit this year. Focusing on the deep integration of finance and industries, the summit will expand the topics from the financial sector to the core of the real economy, thereby unleashing the potential of high-value-added industries, driving a wave of innovation, and boosting more robust economic growth.

The forum will also include a global investment project matching session to promote in-depth industrial collaboration and win-win development. It will actively leverage Hong Kong’s role as a “super-connector” and “super value-adder”, enabling investors and project owners to continuously connect with counterparts around the world.

The organizers expect the forum to attract more than 3,600 participants from 60 countries and regions. Attendees will have the opportunity to communicate directly with industry leaders driving transformations in sectors such as technology, consumption, healthcare and finance, while gaining in-depth insights into Hong Kong’s latest developments.
