As the sun rose and painted the sky with hues of dawn on the early morning of January 10, golden rays spilled over the Wanli Greenway along the Changliubei Reservoir. The 2026 Xinqiao Sub-district Tongxin Fun Run, jointly organized by the Public Service Office of Xinqiao Sub-district Office and the Federation of New Social Strata of Bao’an District, co-organized by the 5th Session of Xinqiao Sub-district “Ignite Learning” Training Class, and undertaken by Shenzhen Qiaopao Great Health Culture Communication Co., Ltd., kicked off with a starting gun here. More than 150 representatives of new social strata in Xinqiao Sub-district, all wearing the unified “Tongxin Blue” sportswear, covered the romantic distance of 5.20 kilometers, imprinting the image of “Xinqiao” in the mountains and rivers, and connecting the present and the future with their footsteps.
With the theme of “New Forces Gather in Xinqiao, United Hearts Stride into the Future”, the event saw all participants in high spirits, forming a flowing blue landscape as they ran along the reservoir greenway. The 5.20-kilometer distance, a homophone for “I love you” in Chinese, serves not only as a sincere confession but also as an invitation to the city—inviting every contributor to resonate with Xinqiao in the same frequency. On the greenway, the long line of runners in blue snaked forward, and smiling faces were mirrored in the calm water, with every step keeping in tune with both ecological preservation and urban development.
This fun run is more than just a jog; it is a mutual embrace between “new forces” and “Xinqiao”. The 5.20 kilometers covered symbolize the connection between talents and the city, as well as between the present and the future. It is learned that moving forward, Xinqiao Sub-district will continue to plan a series of themed activities for the new social strata around the concept of “New Forces Gather in Xinqiao, United Hearts Stride into the Future”.
