Customized Bus Line Reaches Science Park in 30 Minutes

On January 5, the customized commuter bus line (Route R28) running from Guangqian Village, Taoyuan Sub-district, Nanshan District to the Science Park area officially launched its trial operation. Jointly promoted by the People’s Congress Representative Liaison Station of Longguang Community, Taoyuan Sub-district, the Nanshan Administration Bureau of Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau and the Taoyuan Fleet of Shenzhen Bus Group, this line is designed to precisely meet the commuting needs of surrounding residents and provide efficient, non-stop public transport services for office workers traveling to and from the high-tech science park.

A large number of people working in the Science Park reside in the Guangqian Village area of Longguang Community. For a long time, due to the lack of direct bus routes, residents have faced great inconvenience in commuting. To effectively solve this livelihood issue, the People’s Congress Representative Liaison Station of Longguang Community actively performed its duties, took the lead in conducting special surveys, and coordinated with Shenzhen Bus Group and relevant units through station inspections, on-site experience, visits and discussions, ultimately facilitating the opening of Bus Route R28.

Bus Route R28 is a customized peak-hour line operating on weekdays, with four daily departures at 7:30, 7:50, 8:10 and 8:30. Departing from Longjing Village, it stops at Guangqian Village and Xiangshan West Street Intersection along the way, with its terminal at Dachong ① Bus Station. Featuring a customized route design that avoids congested sections, the entire journey takes approximately 30 minutes, significantly reducing commuting time. Passengers can also check the real-time location of buses via the “Che Lai Le” App to plan their trips conveniently.
