To continuously improve the quality and efficiency of archives management and consolidate the achievements of standardized and regulated development, the Key Area Construction and Development Center of Dapeng New District (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) held a knowledge exchange session on document filing business on December 24.
Centering on the Archival Compilation Standards of Dapeng New District, Shenzhen, this session focused on the compilation criteria for administrative archives, with in-depth exchanges conducted mainly on such aspects as document composition, document sequencing and the classification of filed documents. The session stressed that each document material formed from the same meeting or the same activity shall be sorted out as an independent document; in principle, incoming documents and their replies shall be sorted out as separate files; and the final manuscripts of official documents shall be retained and filed even if there are no revision traces on them. Combining with their actual work, the participants held discussions and exchanges on the key and difficult business issues including the filing process of cross-departmental documents and the synchronous management of electronic archives and physical archives.
This session further advanced and implemented the requirements for the “legalization, informatization and standardization” of the Center’s archives management. Through the exchanges and discussions, the cadres and staff of the Center have not only gained a thorough grasp of the specific standardized procedures for document filing, but also developed a deeper understanding of the importance of document filing. This will help the Center to advance the effective implementation of the standardized construction of archives management, and lay a solid underpinning for the high-quality development of the Center.
