To effectively popularize first-aid knowledge, enhance residents’ self-rescue and mutual-rescue abilities in emergency situations, and further strengthen the community safety defense line, the Public Service Office of Dengfeng Street recently held the “Rose” First-Aid Knowledge Popularization Lecture at the Dengfeng Street Cultural Activity Center, inviting professional instructors from specialized institutions to deliver on-site lectures.
The training adopted a “theory + practical operation” integrated model, covering various teaching forms such as simulated demonstrations, video-based teaching and hands-on practice. It focused on practical content including trauma bleeding and hemostasis methods, first-aid procedures for airway foreign body obstruction, on-site infant first-aid techniques, emergency rescue principles for stroke, burn and scald treatment methods, as well as the key operation points of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED).
More than 40 residents actively participated in this activity, with enthusiastic on-site interactions and a strong learning atmosphere. This lecture helps raise public awareness of first aid, enables residents to master basic first-aid skills, and contributes to enhancing the overall emergency resilience and sense of security of the community.
