Wow! Yuexiu District is on the list again! The “2025 China Vibrant Streets Research” was recently released, and four streets in Yuexiu District made it into the “2025 Top 500 Vibrant Streets Nationwide”: Nonglin Street, Huanghuagang Street, Jianshe Street, and Beijing Street.
This research was based on the “Second Quarter 2025 Civil Affairs Statistics” released by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It evaluated over 8,000 streets nationwide (excluding municipalities and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), adhering to the principles of scientific rigor, transparency, openness, objectivity, and comprehensiveness. Big data was the primary data source for this research and comprehensive evaluation, resulting in the “2025 Top 500 Vibrant Streets, Central China Top 100, and Western China Top 100” list.
In the “2025 Top 500 Vibrant Streets Nationwide,” Guangdong province swept the top seven spots, with 135 streets included, accounting for over a quarter of the total. Among these, 55 streets were among the top 100 nationwide. Among them, Guangzhou has 10 streets in the top 100 and 48 streets in the top 500.
Now, let’s experience the vitality of the four streets in Yuexiu District that made the list!
01 Nonglin Street

As of June 2025, over 20 internet information technology and biomedical-related enterprises and projects have settled in the Dongshankou Internet Information Technology and Biomedical Industry Innovation Belt. The image shows the Health Management Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, built by the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical University.
The Nonglin Street established a comprehensive service governance development alliance to promote a comprehensive upgrade of shop signs, lighting, business formats, and management along the street.
The Guangzhou (Yuexiu) Large Model and Algorithm Empowerment Service Center was established to provide enterprises with compliance consulting and professional filing guidance for large models and algorithms. It also connects with high-quality third-party resources to provide enterprises with empowerment services such as model structure optimization, computing power resource support, and high-speed data networks.
New smart light poles were built on Nonglinxia Road, efficiently integrating monitoring, signage, cement poles, trolley poles, and other related facilities along both sides of the road.
The Nonglinxia Road commercial district adopted a “segmented” road design tailored to local conditions, creating a gradual transition from the motor vehicle lanes to the pedestrian walkways on the road cross-section.
The Nonglin Neighborhood Home canteen integrates six projects: community meal assistance, traditional Chinese medicine health preservation, charity and public welfare, rural revitalization, and a warm-hearted rest station, creating a community canteen that feels like “home.”
The Nonglin Street Community Neighborhood Home features multiple service areas, including a neighborhood meeting room, a sunflower-themed parent-child house, and a health station, transforming the neighborhood space into a warm home that residents “want to come to even if they don’t need to do anything,” and was awarded the title of “Guangzhou New Social Stratum Personnel Practice and Innovation Base.”
In the 2024 Guangzhou Most Beautiful Community Park and Most Beautiful Pocket Park selection, Zhusigang Park was awarded “Most Beautiful Pocket Park” and “Most People-Friendly Pocket Park.”
02 Huanghuagang Street

The old buildings of Huandong Square have undergone a remarkable transformation, becoming the home of the nation’s first CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry landmark operation center.
Huanghuagang Science and Technology Park has established several transformation platforms, including the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Life and Health Industry Technology Transformation Center, the Guangzhou Innovative Drug Clinical Trial Service Center, and the Sun Yat-sen University Intellectual Property Transfer and Transformation Center.
In the morning, science and technology workers begin their day at the Huanghuagang Science and Technology Park’s Science and Technology Innovation Cafe.
The “Warm New Station” is equipped with basic facilities such as self-service charging equipment, beverage vending machines, water dispensers, microwave ovens, and repair tool kits, while also providing special services such as emergency medicines, a care kit for female delivery riders, and clothes drying.
In Yunhe Community, the “Adorable Pet Plaza” is paved with yellow and green rubber flooring, and vivid animal sculptures stand in the plaza, attracting residents to stop and admire them.
Huanghuagang Street pioneered a “clustered management” model for elevators, implementing centralized management of elevator installations by decentralized entities. This effectively reduces the cost shared by homeowners and lowers economic costs while increasing the coverage of elevator management.

03 Jianshe Street

As one of the first metropolitan-level pilot areas for the Yangcheng Night Market in Guangzhou, Jianshe Street is deepening the construction of a convenient 15-minute living circle.
Jianshe Street is fully promoting its innovative street development, aiming to become part of the Huanshi East Smart City Innovation Belt.
Jianshe Street has built the city’s first embedded medical and elderly care service complex, combining online consultation services with a “family doctor in your pocket” to provide one-stop integrated traditional Chinese medicine and elderly care services, including medical treatment, meals, childcare, rehabilitation, nursing, and activities. It also has medical insurance and public medical insurance settlement functions, making healthcare more reliable for the elderly.
Jianshe Street has built the city’s first publicly-built, privately-operated inclusive childcare center. The site is provided by the street, and water, electricity, and gas are charged at residential rates. The childcare center offers full-day, temporary, and hourly care services at only 50% of the market price.
Jianshe Street has built the city’s first rider-friendly community, launched the “Yangcheng Red Flag Bearer” Party building brand, and explored a “co-construction + volunteer” model for Party building, guiding riders to participate in volunteer services and integrate into social governance.
The city’s first “Charity + Smart Security Cloud Platform” project has been put into operation, building a comprehensive, all-weather home safety protection network for key groups such as elderly people living alone, people with disabilities, and families in need.
Adhering to the concept of green development, Jianshe Street has built the city’s first electrically operated hydraulic elevated closed transfer and compression station, using the “intensive and refined” development of waste transfer to drive the “quality improvement” of the street environment.
04 Beijing Street

Beijing Street, combining its innovative streetscape initiatives, the construction of the Beijing Road food district, and its creation as one of Guangzhou’s first pilot night markets, leverages the traditional commercial landscape of Beijing Road to create a comprehensive consumption experience encompassing “eating, accommodation, shopping, and entertainment.”
Beijing Street actively promotes consumption through trade-in programs, “Guangbai Nights,” and sports and culture events within the commercial district, stimulating nighttime consumption potential in the Beijing Road area.
The Yanyun West “Zhiyuan” Community is Yuexiu District’s first comprehensive volunteer service center, featuring a “1+3” model: a cluster of volunteer service organizations, a Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Volunteer Service Exchange Center (Yuexiu), a Community Governance Volunteer Service Innovation Center, and a Citizen Volunteer Service Culture Heritage Center.
Changxing Street, within the jurisdiction of Beijing Street, is currently implementing a window and balcony greening campaign, continuously exploring ways for public participation in improving window and balcony greening.
On the southern section of Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, there is a “flower street that never closes”—the “Flower City Flower Street” Flower Industry Exhibition and Sales Area. Integrating flower sales and cultural experiences, it welcomes visitors year-round, serving as a window to accelerate the release of the flower economy’s vitality and further enhancing Beijing’s reputation as a “beautiful city of flowers.” Furthermore, a rural revitalization flower industry support demonstration site has been established here on Beijing Road’s “Flower City Flower Street.”
