On December 23, it was learned from CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. that the heavy-load joint commissioning of the newly-built supporting project for the Guoneng Loading System in Gaolan Port Area of Zhuhai Port, constructed by the company, has been successfully completed recently. This has laid a solid foundation for the official operation of the subsequent loading system and will further strengthen the energy supply guarantee system of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The new supporting project of Guoneng Loading System in Gaolan Port Area of Zhuhai Port is a key link connecting Phase I Project of Shenhua Coal Storage and Transportation Center, the Bulk Cargo Terminal Project and the Port Railway Loading Building in the port area. It is constructed to improve coal loading and unloading efficiency and enhance the capacity of the energy hub.
Relying on the completed system of Phase I Project and the under-construction system of the Bulk Cargo Terminal Project, the project forms a complete loading process system together with stacker-reclaimers, and coordinates to complete the coal loading and conveying process. It meets the demand for railway loading and unloading operations by connecting the existing No.1 to No.6 stockyards with the No.4 Loading Building. With an annual designed loading capacity of 8.4 million tonnes, the new supporting project consists of one loading line, including the construction of two new belt conveyor systems and trestles, the renovation of eight telescopic head systems, the construction of one new transfer room, the expansion of four transfer rooms, as well as the relevant supporting equipment and facilities.
To ensure the smooth progress of the commissioning work, the project department made careful preparations in the early stage, formulated a detailed implementation plan, and clarified the division of responsibilities among all participating construction units and on-post personnel. The heavy-load joint commissioning adopted a full-process remote control mode to simulate the entire technological process of material transportation from the stockyard to the loading building. The whole process proceeded in an orderly manner with seamless connection, and achieved the expected goals successfully.
Upon completion and operation, the new supporting project of Guoneng Loading System in Gaolan Port Area of Zhuhai Port will significantly enhance the coal supply guarantee capacity of China Energy Investment Corporation (CHN Energy) in South China, further improve the storage and transportation functions of Zhuhai National Emergency Coal Reserve Base, and provide a solid underpinning for the stability and security of energy supply in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
