On December 5th, Guancheng Sub-district convened a special work conference on comprehensive civilization construction, mobilizing the whole sub-district to clarify tasks, consolidate responsibilities, and promote the quality improvement, efficiency enhancement and in-depth advancement of comprehensive civilization construction with precise and effective measures. Lai Zhihua, leader of Guancheng Sub-district, as well as heads of relevant departments and communities, attended the conference.
The conference conveyed the spirit of the national, provincial and municipal training courses on the creation of civilized cities, interpreted the index system for the creation of national civilized cities, and arranged various tasks for the creation of civilized cities in Guancheng Sub-district.
The conference pointed out that comprehensive civilization construction is a long-term and arduous systematic project, and it is the core task of the city’s spiritual civilization construction in the next three years. All departments and communities should effectively raise their political standing, strengthen their sense of responsibility, clarify their division of duties, and promote the implementation and effectiveness of various tasks with a rigorous and realistic work style. They should always adhere to the unity of problem-oriented, goal-oriented and result-oriented approaches, uphold the concept of “comprehensive advancement, full-field coverage and all-round improvement”, focus on the weak links in urban governance, and coordinate the promotion of various tasks in comprehensive civilization creation.
The conference emphasized that comprehensive civilization construction cannot be separated from the extensive participation and strong support of the masses. It is necessary to always implement the work with strict standards, mobilize the masses through flexible and diverse forms, and gather a strong joint force for co-construction and sharing. Relevant departments should conduct regular inspections and supervision in various communities and key areas, and promptly rectify all kinds of problems found as soon as they are identified. All units should smooth information channels, strengthen communication, timely report and jointly solve the difficult problems encountered in the work promotion, so as to ensure the effective implementation of the comprehensive civilization construction work in Guancheng Sub-district.
