
The legal authorities of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao officially released the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Arbitrator Panel and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mediator Panel (2025) today. The panels integrate the dispute resolution talent resources of the three regions, and currently contain the profiles of 143 arbitrators and 233 mediators.
The establishment of the aforesaid panels will effectively promote the complementary advantages of arbitration and mediation resources and the alignment of rules among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It will also popularize the wide application of arbitration and mediation in the Greater Bay Area, facilitate the development of Greater Bay Area standards, and further improve the diversified dispute resolution mechanism of the Greater Bay Area.
The above-mentioned panels are jointly established by the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province, and the Secretariat for Administration and Justice of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, and have been reviewed and confirmed by the Joint Conference of Legal Authorities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
