On December 24, Guangming Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd. and Sunwoda EVB Co., Ltd. signed a framework cooperation agreement. Leveraging their respective strengths, the two parties will jointly build projects including the headquarters and R&D center, as well as an innovation and incubation center of Sunwoda EVB, and construct an innovative model of collaborative development between state-owned and private enterprises, injecting strong impetus into the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of the new energy industry in Guangming District. It is reported that Sunwoda EVB Co., Ltd., rooted in Guangming District and deeply engaged in the development of power battery sector, has maintained its installed power battery capacity among the world’s top 10 for consecutive periods and retained the championship of installed HEV hybrid battery capacity in China. It has become one of the leading enterprises in the global new energy field. As a core functional state-owned enterprise under the administration of Guangming District, Guangming Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd. is a major force in the urban development, construction and industrial space expansion of Guangming District. Pursuant to the agreement, the two parties will join efforts to build the project into an open full-cycle incubation system and industrial alliance organization integrating technology screening, capacity cultivation and ecological empowerment. The project will cover core hubs such as headquarters, industrial research, cutting-edge R&D, innovation incubation, pilot-scale conversion, talent aggregation and representative industrial tourism, boosting the development of regional industries.
