Huang Kunming Reads Out the Decision of the CPC Central Committee and Delivers a Speech; Feng Zhonghua Attends; Guo Yonghang Presides Over the Meeting
On December 24, a meeting of leading cadres of Guangzhou was held to announce the decision of the CPC Central Committee on the adjustment of the principal responsible comrade of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee. Huang Kunming, Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, attended the meeting, read out the central decision and delivered a speech. Feng Zhonghua, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, Director of the Organization Department, and Secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee, attended the meeting. Guo Yonghang presided over the meeting, and Sun Zhiyang, Mayor of Guangzhou, was also present.
Recently, the CPC Central Committee has approved that Comrade Feng Zhonghua be appointed Secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee; Comrade Guo Yonghang be relieved of his posts as Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee, and the CPC Central Committee has other arrangements for him.
Huang Kunming pointed out that the adjustment of the principal responsible comrade of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee this time is a decision made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, based on the overall work situation and the actual conditions of the leading bodies of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou. It fully reflects the sincere care of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee for Guangdong Province and Guangzhou, as well as their high attention to the building of the leading bodies of the two. We must resolutely follow the requirements of the General Secretary and the Party Central Committee, continuously strengthen the building of leading bodies and the contingent of cadres, do a good job in the affairs of Guangdong and Guangzhou, and strive to take the lead in advancing the building of Chinese – style modernization.
