December 4, 2025 marks China’s 12th National Constitution Day, and the period from December 1 to December 7 is the 8th Constitution Publicity Week . To fully implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and all plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, thoroughly study, publicize and implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law , and vigorously strengthen constitutional publicity and education, on December 4, Hengli Judicial Branch, together with functional departments including the Town People’s Congress Office, Peace and Rule of Law Office, Hengli Tribunal of the No.3 People’s Court of the city, Hengli Procuratorial Office of the Municipal People’s Procuratorate, Power Supply Service Center and Eastern Notary Public Office, launched the “Constitution Publicity Week” activities at Jinniu Park in Hengli Town.
Centering on the theme of “Studying, Publicizing and Implementing Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and Promoting the Constitution to Take Root in the Hearts of the People”, the activity hung thematic slogans and popularized constitutional knowledge and legal concepts through various publicity methods such as distributing legal publicity materials and legal culture products, and organizing lawyers to provide on-site legal consultation services. It offered legal consultation to the general public, enhanced their legal awareness, and guided them to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests with legal weapons. The on-site publicity boards of The Constitution and Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law focused on popularizing Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, the development course of the Constitution of New China, the status and role of the Constitution, as well as constitution-related laws including the Constitution, National Flag Law, National Anthem Law and National Emblem Law, attracting many citizens to stop and watch.
In addition to promoting the Constitution, the activity also conducted legal publicity on issues closely related to people’s lives, such as the Law on Popularization of Legal Knowledge, anti-cult work, fraud prevention and juvenile protection. During the activity, more than 600 copies of various legal publicity materials including The Constitution of the People’s Republic of China, Civil Code and Daily Life, Excerpts from the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Popularization of Legal Knowledge and Guidelines for Preventing Elderly Fraud were distributed, over 200 publicity gifts such as environmental protection bags, water cups and umbrellas were given out, and more than 30 person-times of legal consultation from the public were received.
In addition to offline publicity activities, Hengli Judicial Branch also launched an online legal popularization topic “Learn More about Laws” based on the “Yuezhengyi” platform, and sent nearly 1,600 constitutional legal popularization text messages to public servants across the town.
Moving forward, Hengli Town will continue to deepen legal publicity work, always attach great importance to constitutional publicity, promote the spirit of the Constitution and spread the concept of the rule of law to the public in more vivid and diverse forms, push for the all-round coverage and in-depth penetration of the constitutional spirit, integrate the concept of the rule of law into people’s daily lives, and lay a solid legal foundation for building a safe and harmonious society.
