On the afternoon of December 10, Chen Yongbing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Huidong County Party Committee and Deputy County Mayor in charge of daily work, led a team to conduct an in-depth research trip to Andun Town. Guided by the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the team carried out work including enterprise-friendly services, river course governance, and supervision of village-level general elections through on-site inspections and forum exchanges. The main responsible comrades of the town government and heads of relevant departments accompanied the research.
The research team first went to Kuishuang Village, where they inspected the planting scale and growth status of honey pomelo, learned in detail about the operation of related enterprises, and verified the effectiveness of these enterprises in driving employment for local farmers. At the Jiashui Dam section in Bao’an Village, Chen Yongbing patrolled the river along the dam, checked the water quality, dam facilities and flood control material reserves, and listened to the report on daily management and protection work. Later, the team held a forum at the Shizhu Village Committee to supervise the village-level general election work and gain an in-depth understanding of the development of the village collective economy, the cultivation of characteristic industries, and the income of villagers.
Finally, the research team held a work meeting at the town government. At the meeting, Chen Yongbing delivered a speech on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, listened to work reports and arranged key tasks. He emphasized four key points: First, focus on spiritual guidance, translate the spirit of the plenary session into practical work results, and implement core arrangements such as “coordinating development and security” and “rural revitalization”. Second, solidly promote industrial revitalization, deepen enterprise-friendly services, refine supporting measures for the industrial chain, and promote the quality and efficiency improvement of characteristic industries. Third, build a double defense line for people’s livelihood security, select and strengthen village-level leaders, and coordinate the investigation and rectification of hidden dangers in river courses. Fourth, firmly hold the bottom line of safe production, focus on regular hidden danger investigations in key areas, improve the risk prevention and control system, and ensure high-quality development with safety.
