To enrich the cultural and sports life of cadres and staff, advocate the concept of green and health, and enable all cadres and staff to engage in work with full enthusiasm and a strong physique, from November 19 to 24, the trade union of Huiyang Branch of Huizhou Ecological Environment Bureau organized all on-the-job trade union members to go to Huangdong Reservoir in Liangjing Town in groups to carry out the 2025 Autumn Environmental Protection Hiking Activity. This activity integrated environmental protection concepts into it. Through the zero-carbon-emission form of hiking, it practiced green travel, guided staff to establish awareness of energy conservation and environmental protection, and organically combined fitness with environmental protection.
The greenway around Huangdong Reservoir boasts pleasant scenery. During the hike, cadres and staff were in high spirits and walked with vigorous strides. Everyone encouraged and supported each other along the way. Colleagues who walked faster took the initiative to slow down their pace to take care of those with insufficient physical strength, showing a good spirit of team cooperation. All participants successfully completed the hiking itinerary in groups, fully demonstrating a healthy, positive, united and progressive spiritual outlook.
After the activity, participating staff generally reflected that the hiking activity gave everyone the opportunity to walk into and get close to nature after busy work, which not only delighted their body and mind and strengthened their physique, but also narrowed the distance between each other, further enhancing the team’s cohesion and centripetal force. At the same time, through personal experience, everyone deeply realized the positive role of green travel in environmental protection and further strengthened the concept of low-carbon life. The slogan “Hike for Fitness and Environmental Protection, Green and Healthy Every Step” on the banner was particularly eye-catching in the sun.
