To fully showcase the development changes and fruitful outcomes of Longgang Subdistrict over the three years since the implementation of the “Million Projects for High-quality Development”, and effectively strengthen residents’ sense of identity and participation in the subdistrict’s urban development, Longgang Subdistrict has carefully organized a series of publicity activities themed on the initial achievements of the three-year “Million Projects”. Under the core theme of “Solid Achievements in Reality · Forging Ahead Together for the Future”, the event featured distinctive sections including on-site inspection tours, eco-friendly experience activities and interactive markets, presenting residents with a grand event that is both ornamental, participatory and practical. It has truly brought the tangible fruits of the “Million Projects” deep into the hearts of the people.
Recently, the “Urban & Village Renovation” check-in route was officially launched at Tefeng Building. Twenty-five residents acted as “Urban Observers”, and experienced the upgraded living environment brought by the renovation of old residential compounds through fun game interactions in an intuitive way. Many residents stopped to take photos at the check-in spots and took the initiative to share the gratifying changes around them.
In addition, the “Green & Beautiful Home” ecological experience tour was held at Longyuan Park. On-site volunteers gave detailed explanations to the participants about the whole process of planning and construction of the Longgang River Greenway, as well as the innovative measures and remarkable achievements made by the subdistrict in building a green and beautiful Longgang. As the highlight of this series of activities, the “Million Projects” Market held at the Nine-Dragon Wall Square of Longyuan Park attracted more than 200 residents to participate enthusiastically.
“Every stall at today’s market is fascinating. I can really feel the meticulous care of the subdistrict and the tangible changes that the ‘Million Projects for High-quality Development’ has brought to our lives,” said Ms. Wang, a local resident, after completing all check-in activities with her children.
Moving forward, Longgang Subdistrict will continue to take the “Million Projects for High-quality Development” as a crucial driving force, focus on the key development priorities of the jurisdiction and the needs of the general public, and launch more targeted and diversified activities and services. It will keep enhancing residents’ sense of happiness and fulfillment, inject a steady stream of impetus into the sustained high-quality development of the jurisdiction, and paint a more splendid picture of a better life for all.
