Recently, the second working meeting of the Shenzhen Joint Conference for Promoting the Reform of the Construction of Industrial Workers Teams was held, at which the first batch of Shenzhen Craftsman Institutes (Schools) with key support from the Shenzhen Federation of Trade Unions was announced. With the active promotion of the Longhua District Federation of Trade Unions, Shenzhen Jieshun Science and Technology Industry Co., Ltd. in the district was accredited as a Shenzhen Craftsman Institute, making it the first enterprise in Longhua District to be included in the list; Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology Co., Ltd. was accredited as a Shenzhen Craftsman School.
The inclusion of the two enterprises in the above list marks a major breakthrough for Longhua District in the construction of industrial worker training platforms, laying a solid talent foundation for the high-quality development of regional industries. As a leading enterprise in the field of access control and management, Shenzhen Jieshun Science and Technology Industry Co., Ltd. has built the Jieshun Craftsman Institute relying on its profound technological accumulation and abundant industrial resources. The institute has fully met the “Six Requirements” for municipal-level Craftsman Institutes and officially launched its training programs in 2025. Centering on the core goal of cultivating compound craftsmen in the intelligent security field, it has constructed an integrated four-dimensional training system of “Hardware – Faculty – Training – Industry”. Specifically, it boasts a teaching venue of over 4,000 square meters equipped with a full set of intelligent security training facilities; has set up a professional faculty team composed of “craftsman mentors + industry experts + university professors”; innovated an integrated “online + offline” training model with an annual training capacity of over 800 person-times, having trained more than 5,000 technical talents cumulatively; and designed its courses in close alignment with the development needs of Shenzhen’s “20+8” industrial clusters, focusing on key fields such as intelligent equipment and digital economy, and providing trainees with a full-chain service covering “training – certification – career development”.
Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology Co., Ltd., a national-level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative “Little Giant” enterprise, has established the Creality 3D Craftsman School focusing on talent cultivation for the 3D printing industry. Currently, the enterprise has a production and office space of over 150,000 square meters with a workforce of more than 1,000 employees. The Craftsman School adopts a three-dimensional driven model of “career development system + industry-education integration platform + competition empowerment channel” to facilitate the growth and advancement of industrial workers: it has built career development paths for three talent categories, namely technical, managerial and professional talents, and established an honor incentive system including enterprise craftsmen and model employees; taken the lead in establishing a national industry-education integration consortium for the digital design and 3D printing industry, gathering resources from nearly 300 enterprises and academic institutions; sponsored the national-level “Creality Cup” competition for five consecutive years and co-organized more than 50 3D printing skill competitions, having helped 1,700 industrial workers achieve a career leap from “skilled workers” to “craftsmen”.
In recent years, the Longhua District Federation of Trade Unions has actively built an industrial worker training system featuring “Promoting Skills through Competitions and Empowering Capabilities through Training”, and continuously broadened the career development channels for talents. In terms of competitions, it hosted 3 municipal-level labor competitions and jointly organized 24 district-level and grassroots competitions throughout the year, attracting the participation of over 100 enterprises and public institutions with more than 3,000 person-times, and nearly 400 outstanding contestants stood out. A strong atmosphere of “Learning through Competitions and Innovation through Competitions” has taken shape steadily. In terms of training system construction, Longhua District has fully implemented the requirements of the relevant implementation plans issued by the Shenzhen Federation of Trade Unions, and made an overall plan for the construction of training bases in light of the scale and development needs of industrial workers. By the end of 2025, 23 industrial worker training bases accredited by the Shenzhen Federation of Trade Unions (including 3 training workshops and 20 training centers) have been fully completed in Longhua District, overfulfilling the task and integrating ahead of schedule into the city’s high-quality “1+20+100” industrial worker training base network. These bases cover all 6 subdistricts of the district, with an additional 3 training centers set up for new forms of business such as express logistics and online car-hailing. Characteristic programs have been carried out continuously, such as the “Precision Craftsmanship and Elite Artisan” Talent Cultivation Camp launched by the North Railway Station Business Federation of Trade Unions and the AI Night School in Zhangge Community of Fucheng Subdistrict. The “customized training + job matching” model adopted by enterprises including Lingzhi Opto-Mechatronics and Creality 3D has been widely recognized by employees. Since their accreditation, these bases have offered 98 courses focusing on key fields such as intelligent manufacturing and digital skills, carried out more than 300 training sessions cumulatively covering 34,000 industrial workers. Among them, the “Dream Realization Program” has helped 356 employees achieve the dual improvement of “professional skills + academic qualifications”, and a systematic and large-scale pattern for industrial worker training has been steadily formed in the district.
Relevant responsible persons stated that the accreditation of the two enterprises as municipal-level Craftsman Institutes (Schools) is a vivid practice for Longhua District to deepen the reform of industrial worker team construction and empower the development of “Digital Longhua”. Going forward, Longhua District will continue to focus on the development needs of Shenzhen’s “20+8” industrial clusters, strengthen the construction of craftsman training platforms, smooth the career development channels for industrial workers, and inject strong momentum of skilled talents into the high-quality development of the region.
