To continuously improve the community’s environmental sanitation management, create a clean, beautiful, harmonious and orderly living environment, and promote the volunteer spirit of “dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress”, on the morning of January 12, 2026, with the strong support of the Buxin Party Committee, the Party-Mass Service Center of Buxin Community, together with the Silver Age Volunteers from the Community Senior Citizens Association, launched the “Join Hands to Renew Our Community, Work Together to Build Our Home” Volunteer Clean-up Day activity.
At the start of the activity, social workers mobilized and assigned tasks to the volunteers, clarifying the responsibility areas and cleaning priorities of each group, while emphasizing safety precautions during the cleaning process. Afterwards, wearing unified volunteer vests and carrying cleaning tools such as garbage tongs, shovels and garbage bags, the volunteers threw themselves into the work with full enthusiasm. Upholding the spirit of fearing neither dirt nor fatigue and being willing to make contributions, they divided their work and collaborated to clean up garbage, cigarette butts and debris in areas such as both sides of the roads, green belts and stairwell corners. They did not overlook any details and ensured that no sanitation dead corners were left. After a period of hard work, the community environment took on a new look, with clean and smooth roads and tidy green belts. At the end of the activity, looking at the clean home they had renovated with their own hands, the volunteers’ faces were filled with pride and gratification.
This activity not only completed the intensive improvement of environmental sanitation, effectively upgrading the hygienic condition of the community’s public areas, but also further advanced the community’s civilization practice. Through practical actions, the volunteers beautified their home, conveyed the concept of environmental protection with their little efforts, raised residents’ awareness of environmental protection, enhanced neighborhood ties and narrowed the distance between neighbors through collaborative labor, thus gathering synergy for building a better community. Moving forward, Buxin Community will continue to be guided by residents’ needs, carry out a variety of volunteer services on a regular basis, constantly expand channels for residents’ participation, guide more residents to engage in community governance and construction, and join hands to build a more beautiful, livable and happy home.
