To further strengthen the professional competence building of the security team and inherit intangible cultural heritage, on December 25, 2025, the Luohu District Authority for Government Offices Administration specially invited instructors from the China Wing Chun Martial Arts Research Association and the Hong Kong, Macao & Overseas Wing Chun International Institute of Guangdong Wushu Association to deliver a special training session. By integrating traditional martial arts with modern security work, the activity has built a solid defense line for the safety of the CPC Luohu District Committee.
At the start of the activity, the instructors systematically expounded the core techniques of Wing Chun, such as the Center Line Theory and Inch Power Striking, and demonstrated classic routines including Siu Nim Tau and Biu Jee. During the group practice session, all team members gradually mastered the practical combat skills of overcoming hardness with softness and striking by borrowing force, starting from basic horse stances to combined offense and defense moves. In the course of training, the instructors integrated Wing Chun techniques like Ching Kiu (Listening to the Bridge) and Chi Sau (Sticking Hands) into actual security scenarios, simulating emergency response and disposal in unexpected situations. Through paired sparring, the team members improved their abilities in close-quarters control and crisis resolution.
This training innovatively adopted the model of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance + On-the-job Training. It not only strengthened the professional skills of the security team, but also promoted the living inheritance of traditional culture in government organs and institutions. All team members expressed that they would integrate the essence of Wing Chun — the combination of hardness and softness — into their daily patrol duties, and fulfill the commitment of “absolute safety” with a more professional posture.
Through this activity, the Luohu District Authority for Government Offices Administration has achieved the organic integration of traditional culture and modern security work. It has injected new impetus into constructing a dual security system of technical defense plus human defense, and provided solid support for the safety and stability of the CPC Luohu District Committee.
