The Health Bureau of Macao announced: Public administrative staff are granted exemption from work on the afternoon of New Year’s Eve (today, the 31st), and tomorrow (the 1st) is the New Year’s Day public holiday, during which government departments will be closed. To facilitate medical consultation for those in need, the Health Bureau has released the medical service arrangements for the period, as follows:
1. Conde S. Januário Hospital
Medical Services
- Emergency services, inpatient services, and the Offshore Emergency Station will operate 24 hours as usual.
- The Peritoneal Dialysis Unit will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both today and tomorrow.
- The Hemodialysis Unit will provide services as usual from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight on both days.
- The Tuberculosis Control Center, specialist outpatient services (including all specialist clinics, Radiology and Imaging Department, Specialist Outpatient Pharmacy, Endoscopy Center, Urology Clinic Area, blood collection and sample collection services) and the Registration Office will be closed.
- Individuals with appointments for Hematology and Oncology services must attend the consultation at the scheduled time.
Visiting Arrangements
- Visiting hours for general wards: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Visiting hours for the emergency ward are 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Except under special circumstances, no visits will be allowed outside the designated visiting hours. Special cases will be handled according to actual needs. 2. Health Centers/Stations, Blood Donation Center, Civil Servant Health Checkup Center
Health Centers/Stations
- All health centers/stations will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. today and closed in the afternoon.
- Areia Preta Health Center, Fai Chi Kei Health Center, Ilha Verde Health Center, Tap Seac Health Center, Praia Grande Health Center, São Lourenço Health Center, Ocean Gardens Health Center, Lago de São Francisco Health Center, Seac Pai Van Health Center and Coloane Health Station will provide nursing services from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. tomorrow.
Other Facilities
- The Blood Donation Center will provide blood donation services as usual today and suspend services tomorrow.
- The Taipa Elderly Health Care Station, Hengqin Macao New Neighbourhood Health Station, New Urban Zone A Health Station and Civil Servant Health Checkup Center will be closed tomorrow.
3. Vaccination Services
- All health centers/stations (excluding Hengqin Macao New Neighbourhood Health Station and New Urban Zone A Health Station) will offer influenza vaccination services from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on both today and tomorrow.
