Organized by the General Union of Students of Macao, the 2025 “Xing TV” Creation Training Program has been successfully launched this year. Funded by the Macao Foundation, the program has recruited 48 students from various local secondary and tertiary institutions. Through a series of training sessions, it aims to enhance the students’ professional capabilities and creativity in the field of self-media.
During the 12-month training, participants worked in teams to plan and produce video-audio as well as graphic-text content. Over the whole year, they created 27 videos and 19 graphic-text works, covering popular series such as street interviews and personality interviews, with new graphic-text creations themed on “Cultural Differences Between Hong Kong and Macao Students”. The works have garnered a total of 750,000 views, receiving enthusiastic responses. Some participants said that the program not only equipped them with extensive self-media knowledge and practical skills, but also boosted their confidence throughout the process.
