On December 24, Li Xiaoning, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and District Mayor of Nanshan District Government, presided over a session of the Party Leadership Group of the District Government. The meeting earnestly studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s recent important speeches and instructions, as well as the spirits of the Seventh Plenary Session of the 13th CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, the 11th Plenary Session of the 7th CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, and the 9th Plenary Session of the 8th CPC Nanshan District Committee, and discussed the opinions on the implementation of these spirits within the district government system.
The meeting emphasized that it is essential to fully implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, thoroughly study and follow General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions delivered during his inspection tour of Guangdong and his attendance at the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games. Centering closely on the decisions and arrangements of the Seventh Plenary Session of the 13th CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, the 11th Plenary Session of the 7th CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, and the 9th Plenary Session of the 8th CPC Nanshan District Committee, we should take the initiative to explore, work in a down-to-earth manner to strive for excellence, courageously venture into the “uncharted areas” and strive for “new remarkable achievements”. We will continuously translate the decisions and arrangements of the provincial, municipal and district committees into vivid practices of high-quality development in Nanshan, and strive to make greater contributions to the overall development of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City. We must always adhere to the pursuit of perfection, focus on promoting high-quality development, creating a high-quality life and achieving efficient governance, steadily advance various reforms, and strive to build more high-quality works and models characteristic of Nanshan. We should persist in advancing the in-depth integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, focus on the key links of achievement transformation, enterprise incubation and industrial planning, so as to make innovation more profitable. We will accelerate the construction of a high-quality modern industrial system, drive development through the dual engines of “AI industrialization” and “industrial AI application”, build a highland for the artificial intelligence industry, develop world-class advanced manufacturing clusters such as intelligent robots and intelligent terminals, focus on developing the future information industry, future materials industry and future space industry, and continuously cultivate and strengthen new quality productive forces.

The meeting stressed that we should earnestly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important reply to all teachers and students of China Agricultural University, persist in empowering modern agriculture with “Nanshan science and technology”, give play to the advantages of scientific and technological enterprises in the district, and make contributions of Nanshan to promoting rural revitalization and advancing the “Hundred Counties, Thousand Towns and Ten Thousand Villages High-Quality Development Project” more effectively.
After the session of the Party Leadership Group of the District Government, Li Xiaoning presided over an executive meeting of the District Government to review and deliberate on relevant matters.
