Preparatory Committee for the China Secretariat of the GBA International Logistics and Supply Chain Federation Established in Shenzhen

The Preparatory Committee for the China Secretariat of GBA International Logistics and Supply Chain Federation was launched in Shenzhen. It aims to boost cross-border collaboration, support dual circulation, and inject new momentum into the GBA’s high-quality development.

In active response to the national strategy of high-quality development and the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Preparatory Committee for the China Secretariat of the Hong Kong Greater Bay Area International Logistics and Supply Chain Industry Federation (hereinafter referred to as the “Federation”) was officially established recently at the China Merchants Group Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Base in Shenzhen.

Huang Fuhua, Chairman of the Federation, Wu Huizhong, Executive Vice Chairman, Sun Xinhua, Executive President of the Shenzhen Rural Revitalization Promotion Association, Wang Jinjing, General Manager of China Merchants Venture Investment Management Co., Ltd., Qian Lin, CEO of World Assistance International, Liu Zheng, Director of the Smart Property Application and Promotion Center of the National Intelligent Standardization Technical Committee, Wang Li, Director of Tencent Cloud’s Agriculture, Culture and Tourism Industry, Xiao Longfei, Chairman of Yicun Qihang Supply Guarantee Network, as well as representatives from government departments, enterprises, research institutions and international partners from countries including South Korea, Russia, Chile and France attended the establishment ceremony.

In his speech, Huang Fuhua, Chairman of the Federation, stated that the Federation will actively participate in rural revitalization efforts in central and western China. The establishment of the Preparatory Committee for the China Secretariat will leverage Hong Kong’s advantages as an international platform to deepen integration among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in terms of rule connection, industrial collaboration and data interconnection, so as to serve the country’s new development pattern of “dual circulation”.

At the ceremony, Chairman Huang Fuhua presented the letter of authorization to Xiao Longfei, the person in charge of the Preparatory Committee. Xiao Longfei said that the Preparatory Committee will focus on platform construction, brand building, ecological cultivation, innovation empowerment and system development, providing integrated, international and digital supply chain support services for member enterprises. Meanwhile, the “National Pavilion Project GBA Exchange Center” and the “Yixian Duo · Chinese Flavors” China Featured Pavilion were launched on site, and a number of strategic cooperation agreements were signed to facilitate resource docking and industrial collaboration under the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

In the future, the Federation will further strengthen the core functions of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the field of international logistics and supply chains through the China Secretariat, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the region.
