Recently, the 2025 On-site Observation of “Quality Month” and State-owned Enterprise Open Day in Yuexiu District was successfully held at the affordable rental housing project in Jishanxiang, Guangzhou. Hosted by the Yuexiu District Construction and Water Affairs Bureau, the event was co-organized by the Yuexiu District Construction Project Quality and Safety Supervision Station, together with the Second Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway Urban Construction Group and the Station Building (Housing) Construction Headquarters of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. With the theme of “Strengthening Comprehensive Quality Management and Promoting the Construction of a Quality Power”, the activity was attended by over 110 participants, including construction directors of projects under supervision in Yuexiu District, supervision representatives, and supervisors from the District Quality Supervision Station.
During the preparation phase, the District Quality Supervision Station adhered to the principle of “equal emphasis on supervision and service”. It took the lead in formulating the implementation plan, guided the project in sorting out highlights of quality management, and selected demonstration content from dimensions such as physical craftsmanship and construction standardization. Additionally, it organized supervisors to verify the quality of the exhibition area in advance, and checked the sealing of raw material samples, process specifications, and the accuracy of intelligent equipment one by one in accordance with national standards, ensuring that the observation content was both exemplary and authentic. At the beginning of the event, relevant responsible persons from the Second Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway Urban Construction Group and the Station Building (Housing) Construction Headquarters of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group respectively introduced the project overview and cooperation directions. They stated that they would deepen collaboration with the District Quality Supervision Station to promote the project in building a high-quality project. Subsequently, the leading official in charge of the Yuexiu District Construction and Water Affairs Bureau put forward four opinions on the overall project quality work in the district:
- Strengthen the whole-process quality control and improve the project quality assurance system;
- Promote technological empowerment for industrial upgrading and innovate construction methods;
- Improve the long-term supervision mechanism and strengthen the development of law enforcement teams;
- Pay close attention to implementation to ensure the “Quality Month” activity achieves practical results.
At the event site, a physical craftsmanship model exhibition area, an on-site construction standardization exhibition area, and an intelligent construction exhibition area were carefully set up. Through diversified forms such as physical models, craftsmanship demonstrations, on-site explanations by professionals, and intelligent equipment demonstrations, the site comprehensively presented the project’s practical achievements in quality management, technological innovation, and green construction. Later, the observers visited the standard floor aluminum formwork installation process, the physical entity of mechanical and electrical installation processes, the sealed raw material samples, and the model rooms. From the exquisite design of the building structure, the strict selection of building materials to the meticulous refinement of construction processes, the project’s efforts in building “high-quality housing” and enhancing the sense of happiness in renting were fully demonstrated.
