Recently, the Dapeng Administration of Shenzhen Municipal Transport Bureau has organized and carried out safety inspections.
The inspection team gained a detailed understanding of the enterprises’ production and operation status, focusing on checking the implementation of enterprises’ safety management systems, safety education and training, hidden danger investigation and rectification, as well as the lessons learned from previous accidents. Afterwards, the team conducted an in-depth inspection of road facilities in the jurisdiction by patrolling Dapeng.
The inspection team emphasized four key requirements:
- Fully recognize the severe situation currently facing the transportation sector, earnestly learn lessons from various accidents, and resolutely uphold the bottom line and red line of safe production.
- Strictly implement the work arrangements for major risk and hidden danger investigation and rectification, strengthen self-inspection by enterprises and inspections by competent departments, and achieve accurate identification and closed-loop rectification of hidden dangers.
- Effectively carry out the full-chain management of drivers, especially focusing on pre-employment verification, warning education, dynamic management of physical and mental health, safe and civilized driving, and relevant reward and punishment mechanisms, so as to ensure safety is under control.
- Conduct timely vehicle maintenance and repair to keep vehicles in good operating condition and prevent “faulty vehicles” from being driven on the road.
- Conduct frequent inspections of road facilities, especially sections adjacent to water or cliffs, crowded areas, and roads open to hazardous chemical vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. Strengthen facility protection, promptly eliminate various road defects, and ensure good traffic conditions.
