Yantian District People’s Hospital Launches a Themed Free Medical Consultation Activity of “Integration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, United for Health” in Zhongying Street

On November 19, Yantian District People’s Hospital held a free medical consultation in Zhongying Street. Its Party-member medical team offered diagnosis, physical checks and health guidance for cross-border residents, deepening Shenzhen-Hong Kong medical synergy.

To further strengthen the Shenzhen-Hong Kong medical collaboration under the guidance of Party building and respond to the Healthy China Strategy, on November 19, the Party Committee of Yantian District People’s Hospital coordinated multiple Party branches to hold a themed free medical consultation activity themed “Integration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, United for Health” in Zhongying Street. This initiative brings high-quality medical services right to the doorsteps of cross-border residents, building a health bridge that connects the two sides of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Focusing on the characteristics of cross-border living of residents and their cardiovascular health needs, the hospital’s Party Committee integrated resources of various Party branches and set up a multidisciplinary expert team led by outstanding Party member medical professionals, covering hypertension, coronary heart disease and other key medical fields. On site, Party member medical staff from each branch divided their work and collaborated closely: they listened carefully to patients’ medical histories, conducted thorough physical examinations, and provided targeted diagnosis and treatment suggestions, medication regimens as well as medical guidance tailored to the actual situation of cross-border medical treatment. For elderly residents with multiple concurrent diseases and complicated medication regimens, the medical team sorted out their medication lists one by one, explained the potential risks of combined medication use, and also provided free blood pressure and blood glucose tests to identify hidden health risks. Party member volunteers provided full-process guidance for consultation registration, distributed health popularization materials, and opened a green channel for elderly residents with mobility difficulties, ensuring efficient and convenient medical services for all attendees.

This activity is a vivid practice for the hospital’s Party Committee to advance Shenzhen-Hong Kong medical collaboration. It not only addresses the medical treatment difficulties faced by cross-border residents and raises public health awareness, but also highlights the fortress role of each Party branch and the exemplary vanguard role of Party members. It further unites the collaborative forces of Shenzhen and Hong Kong to pursue shared goals and joint development for mutual benefits.
