On December 26, Shenzhen Institute of Socialism convened the 2025 Promotion Meeting on the Construction of the Innovative Development Consortium of Shenzhen Institute of Socialism. Qiao Hengli, Vice-Chairman of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and President of Shenzhen Institute of Socialism, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting fully affirmed the work of Shenzhen Institute of Socialism across the city in 2025. It was noted that throughout the year, the institute had thoroughly implemented the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and all plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, adhered to the correct direction of running the institute, actively fulfilled its responsibilities and missions, established the city-wide Innovative Development Consortium of Shenzhen Institute of Socialism, further pooled forces for development, and made new progress in various tasks.
The meeting emphasized that 2026 marks the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period and the 10th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s congratulatory letter on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Central Institute of Socialism. The institute must unwaveringly use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to strengthen ideals and convictions, unite and guide members of the city-wide united front to firmly uphold the Two Establishments and resolutely implement the Two Upholds. It must accurately grasp the current situation and tasks, deeply understand the important mission entrusted to the city-wide Innovative Development Consortium of Shenzhen Institute of Socialism by the new era and new journey, show new achievements in building consensus, make new breakthroughs in offering suggestions and contributing to government decision-making, create new highlights in brand building, and adhere to the development path of “high-level, standardized and distinctive” education. It must adhere to the principle that “the Institute of Socialism must be rooted in socialism”, strengthen reform-driven development, focus on long-term growth, improve the integrated development mechanism of the city-wide institute system, strive to open up a new prospect for united front education and training in Shenzhen, and contribute to Shenzhen taking the lead and being a pacesetter in advancing the great practice of Chinese-style modernization.
On the same day, attending leaders awarded plaques to the second batch of branch institutes and the second batch of on-site teaching bases of Shenzhen Institute of Socialism. Shenzhen Institute of Socialism signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with the united front departments of 5 districts including Luohu District respectively. Three units including the United Front Work Department of Luohu District Committee delivered exchange speeches.
