Tang Yifeng Conducts Research in Shunde District

On December 29, Tang Yifeng, Secretary of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee, paid a research visit to Shunde District to inspect services for “Four – Category Key Enterprises”. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions during his inspection tour in Guangdong, fully implement the work arrangements of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, foster and expand “Four – Category Key Enterprises” with better services and more concrete measures, and provide solid support for promoting high – quality economic development.

Tang Yifeng visited Midea Group’s Innovation and Technology Park, toured the enterprise exhibition hall and laboratories, and gained a detailed understanding of the park’s planning and construction, R & D and innovation system, tackling of key technological problems, and the layout of the latest products. He encouraged the enterprise to continuously increase R & D investment, deepen basic research and applied innovation, give play to the leading role of leading enterprises, drive the intelligent upgrading of Foshan’s home appliance industry, strive to build a world – class enterprise. He also required relevant departments to fully guarantee factor services and create a better environment for the enterprise’s development.

At the Beijiao Dynamic Island Business District, Tang Yifeng conducted on – site inspections of project renovation, business format layout, and commercial operation. He pointed out that efforts should be made to improve living services and commercial supporting facilities, actively introduce new business formats that meet the needs of community people’s livelihood and the preferences of young groups, strengthen refined operation and management, build high – quality urban living spaces, and better gather popularity, boost industries and promote consumption.

Tang Yifeng stressed that all levels and departments in the city should attach great importance to the cultivation of “Four – Category Key Enterprises”. Centering on industries such as industry, service industry and construction industry, they should establish and improve a “one enterprise, one policy” cultivation mechanism, and fully promote the increase in the number, vitality and quality of “Four – Category Key Enterprises”. They should strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in innovation, support leading enterprises to take the lead in building new R & D institutions, enhance the cultivation of science and technology – based small and medium – sized enterprises and specialized, sophisticated, unique and new enterprises, intensify efforts to tackle key core technologies, empower product manufacturing with high – end science and technology and advanced processes, and promote mutual promotion and mutual strengthening of industries and science and technology.

Efforts should be made to build a first – class market – oriented, law – based and international business environment, improve the regular government – enterprise communication mechanism, accurately meet the development needs of enterprises, coordinate and solve the blocking points, pain points and difficulties encountered by enterprises in their development, and create favorable conditions for the development of various business entities and talents. It is necessary to adhere to the principle of “using culture and tourism as a platform to boost economic development”, plan and build distinctive high – quality cultural and tourism projects, actively cultivate new models and new business formats, optimize the layout of the integration of culture, commerce and tourism, guide and create new demands with high – quality supply, and continuously cultivate new consumption growth points.
