On December 20, relying on the key cultural welfare project of “Shanhai Urban Art Gallery” in Yantian District, the District Federation of Trade Unions organized the “Shanhai Urban Art Gallery” Parent-child Art Co-creation Activity for Employees at the Coastal Plank Road.

Dozens of employee families and art lovers in the district gathered together, with paintbrushes as the medium and the mountains and seas as the scenery. They sketched the beauty by the winter coastline and froze the heartwarming parent-child moments forever.
As a key cultural welfare project built by Yantian District, the “Shanhai Urban Art Gallery” has always taken “Serving Employees and Enriching Cultural Life” as its core. Relying on Yantian’s unique natural landscapes, it has built a multi-functional public cultural and artistic space integrating art sketching, artwork exhibitions, cultural and creative markets, and literary and artistic performances.
This parent-child art co-creation activity for employees is another successful practice for the gallery to explore the integrated model of “Nature + Art + Parent-child Bond”. It not only brings art out of the studio and into the daily lives of ordinary people, but also turns the Coastal Plank Road into a bond connecting parent-child emotions and conveying cultural warmth. It has further raised the level of urban cultural services in Yantian District, allowing the sunshine of cultural welfare to shine on every family.
