Organised by the Creative Industries Development Office, the Yau Ma Tei Police Station Light and Shadow Tour exhibition, held at the former site of the old Yau Ma Tei Police Station, will open to the public on 2nd of next month. Tickets for the exhibition will be available for purchase via the online reservation system starting at 10 a.m. tomorrow, for visits scheduled from 2nd to 31st of next month.

The old Yau Ma Tei Police Station is located at No.627 Canton Road. A Grade II historic building in Hong Kong built in the Edwardian architectural style of Britain, the ground floor of this historic structure has been revitalised by the Creative Industries Development Office. The exhibition integrates the heritage architecture with Hong Kong’s iconic police and gangster film culture, aiming to promote film tourism and local cinematic heritage.

Visitors may book tickets for visits within 30 days from the date of purchase, with a maximum of four tickets per booking. No on-site ticket sales will be available. Each guided tour session lasts for 25 minutes, and visitor numbers are capped at 20 per session to ensure an optimal experience for all attendees.

Standard tickets are priced at HK$30. Concessionary tickets at HK$10 are offered to students, senior citizens, recipients of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme and people with disabilities. Children aged six or under are admitted free of charge.

To mark the opening of the exhibition, the venue will be open on a continuous basis from 2nd to 11th of next month (the first two weeks), with extended operating hours from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Normal opening hours will resume starting from 12th of next month.

In conjunction with the exhibition, the Yau Ma Tei Food and Shopping Festival will run from 1st of next month to 22nd February. The festival features a wide range of dining and shopping discounts; in addition, visitors who have attended the Yau Ma Tei Police Station Light and Shadow Tour are entitled to exclusive extra discounts upon presentation of their exhibition tickets.
