On December 4, the Zhangmutou Judicial Sub-bureau, together with the Peace and Rule of Law Office, the People’s Congress Office, the Federation of Trade Unions and other units, held a themed legal popularization activity for the 2025 “Constitution Publicity Week” at Binhe Park. Meng Jianguo, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, attended the activity, popularized legal knowledge to the public together with the staff, and promoted the spirit of the Constitution to take root at the grassroots level.
At the event site, the staff combined with issues of high concern to the public such as marriage and family, labor disputes, and telecom fraud, explained the Constitution and relevant legal provisions through typical cases, and guided the public to use legal weapons to safeguard their rights and interests hand in hand.
To make legal popularization more down-to-earth, the activity innovatively incorporated interactive sessions. Adults and children actively participated in fun game stalls such as Constitution knowledge quizzes and legal puzzles, deepening their legal awareness in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff also distributed publicity brochures, environmental protection bags and other materials printed with legal knowledge to the public, integrating the concept of rule of law with daily necessities, and making legal popularization part of daily life.
Next, Zhangmutou Town will take the “Constitution Publicity Week” as an opportunity to continuously carry out a series of legal popularization activities in enterprises, campuses, communities and other places. It will expand the coverage of legal popularization through forms popular with the public, effectively improve the overall legal literacy of the whole people, and lay a solid legal foundation for the high-quality development of the town.
