To further improve supervision efficiency, prevent and control market risks, and implement the requirements of the “four strictest” principles, the District Administration for Market Regulation recently organized a meeting on food safety supervision in the market regulation field.
Wu Wenge, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the District Administration for Market Regulation, Luo Weijing, Food Safety Director, as well as responsible persons of relevant working groups, market supervision institutes, and food and drug safety working groups of parks, towns (sub-districts) attended the meeting. The meeting focused on the key tasks of food safety supervision and the access to the “Internet + AI Supervision” platform, and clarified the direction of the next step of work.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of the city’s food safety work promotion meeting and the meeting on the access to the “Internet + AI Supervision” platform, clarified the latest requirements and work orientation of higher-level authorities on food safety supervision, and interpreted the important significance and promotion path of intelligent supervision. The Emergency Coordination Group and the Food Safety Management Group specified the implementation standards and requirements in combination with the annual work task indicators, providing clear guidance for the annual food safety supervision tackling work.
Wu Wenge emphasized that food safety is the bottom line of people’s livelihood. All units should improve their political standing, compact supervision responsibilities, adhere to the responsibility of defending their territory and fulfilling their duties, keep a close eye on key links such as food production, circulation and consumption, strengthen risk investigation and hidden danger remediation, complete the access to the “Internet + AI Supervision” platform on time, promote the transformation of food safety supervision to intelligence and digitalization, effectively protect the people’s dietary safety, and build a solid defense line for food safety.
