On December 10, the 2025 Zhuhai “December 5” International Volunteer Day Series Activities and the Zhuhai-Macao-Qin Volunteer Service Sharing Session, themed “Gathering Volunteer Forces to Build a Better Society”, were held at the Exhibition and Screening Hall on the third floor of Zhuhai Local Chronicles Museum. Taking the 40th International Volunteer Day as an opportunity and looking forward to the 2026 United Nations International Year of Volunteers, the event built a volunteer service exchange platform for Zhuhai, Macao and Qin, consolidated volunteer consensus, and promoted coordinated development.
Yu Chengping, Director of the Municipal Party Committee’s Social Work Department and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee’s “Two New” Work Committee, stated in his speech that the department will continue to improve the volunteer service system, build more exchange and cooperation platforms, promote the high-quality coordinated development of volunteer services in Zhuhai, Macao and Qin, and inject a steady stream of volunteer forces into building a better Zhuhai.
At the event site, the Zhuhai City Volunteer Service Brand Logo was officially released. The concise and distinctive logo carries the original aspiration and mission of Zhuhai’s volunteer services and has become a spiritual symbol for gathering volunteer forces across the city. A “1+12+N” volunteer service brand matrix has been built, nurturing 12 sub-brands in key fields and N characteristic volunteer service projects, and fostering and practicing core socialist values.
Chen Weiguang, the National Most Beautiful Volunteer, Zhou Shaojun, the Guangdong Provincial Most Beautiful Volunteer, He Anyi, Vice Chairman of the Macao Cultural and Creative Art Volunteer Association, and Yuan Wanting, a Little Dolphin Volunteer of the 15th National Games, respectively shared touching stories of gaining growth and passing on warmth through volunteer services based on their own experiences.
Finally, all participants visited the volunteer service fair together, closely experiencing the characteristics and charm of various volunteer service projects such as free medical consultations, home appliance maintenance, garbage classification publicity, intangible cultural heritage experience, and emergency rescue knowledge popularization, further enhancing communication and connection among volunteer service organizations in the three regions.
