On December 25th, the 2025 2nd Zhuhai Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Integration and Development Conference & 4th Manufacturing Supply and Demand Matching Fair, themed “Smart Chain for the Greater Bay Area · Smart Manufacturing for the Future”, kicked off at the Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center. Guided by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, the conference was co-hosted by the People’s Government of Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Zhuhai Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce). A number of renowned enterprises including Gree Electric Appliances, Jinpin Technology and Ruixiang Intelligence gathered here, participating in the matching with procurement orders worth more than 5 billion yuan in total.
Initiated in 2022, Zhuhai’s manufacturing supply and demand matching events have been held for three consecutive sessions, having facilitated about 600 enterprises to complete order matching worth around 3 billion yuan in total. The radiation scope has expanded from Zhuhai and its surrounding areas to the entire Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This year’s two-day conference saw the participation of over 20% of enterprises from outside Zhuhai City.
To ensure the actual effect of the matching, the conference featured numerous highlights in model innovation and session arrangement. Focusing on the core goals of industrial chain synergy and domestic demand stimulation, it set up three major sections: the Supply and Demand Matching Fair, Parallel Thematic Forums, and Benchmark Enterprise Visits, guiding enterprises to connect with a broader market and expand the “circle of friends” for supply and demand matching.
Among them, the Supply and Demand Matching Fair was divided into five themed matching zones in accordance with enterprise needs: high-end equipment, basic raw materials, core components, overseas development empowerment, and production services. Adopting the mode of “buyers stay, suppliers rotate”, it guaranteed precise one-on-one connection. The organizers sorted out and pushed supply and demand information in advance before the conference, helping enterprises quickly lock in their targets. On-site, there were not only manufacturing leaders such as Gree Electric Appliances and Livzon Group, but also cross-border e-commerce giants including Alibaba and Amazon, creating a strong and efficient matching atmosphere.
The Parallel Thematic Forums and Benchmark Enterprise Visits empowered enterprises simultaneously. Two thematic forums held on the afternoon of the opening day invited think tank experts and platform heads to provide professional guidance on standard formulation and product export, helping enterprises integrate into the global supply chain. For enterprise visits, three inspection routes were launched — the Xiangzhou Route, Shenzhen-Zhongshan Route and Foshan Route, organizing enterprises to conduct on-site observation of industry leaders such as Gree Electric Appliances and Ninestar Corporation, learn experience in smart manufacturing, and explore opportunities for in-depth cooperation.
It is learned that this year’s conference has attracted the largest number of participants in its history, with nearly 400 registered attendees covering more than 300 enterprises, including over 100 purchasers.
